In today’s dynamic world of digital marketing, SEO optimization for search engines plays a crucial role in the success of companies through their active online presence. Recently, our agency had the opportunity to optimize the company’s website Ribeira Flores 59, a property with 5 studios and 2 two-bedroom mezzanine apartments, carefully decorated, with an excellent location in the heart of Porto. In just 30 days, we managed to significantly increase the number of contacts and bookings through a detailed diagnosis, corrections and SEO updates. This case study explores the process and results of this project.
Initial Analysis
The first step was to carry out a complete analysis of the Ribeira Flores 59 website in order to identify problems and opportunities for improvement in various areas, including design, content, usability, interface and SEO. This comprehensive analysis allowed us to map out all the changes needed to optimize the site’s performance.
Client meeting
After the analysis, we meet with the client to explain, in a clear and understandable way, the strategy to be used and how these actions could improve the website’s performance. Design improvements
With regard to design, we identified the need to replace low-quality photographs and images, as well as to correct some layout errors which, although they don’t directly interfere with SEO optimization, can become a problem for retaining customers. The visual presentation of a website is crucial, especially for those looking for local accommodation, where the quality of the images can directly influence customers’ decision to choose.

SEO Optimization: Content and URL Structure
We carried out keyword research for the main pages of the website and checked the structure of the URLs to ensure that they were well optimized for these keywords. We identified that the website was not optimized for search engines and therefore added relevant textual content to several pages, also introducing meta tags, meta titles, descriptions and alt tags to the images.
Blog creation
Given that ribeira Flores website 59 is very visual, it wasn’t possible to insert textual content that would allow SEO optimization on the main pages without compromising aesthetics. To get around this limitation, we created a blog to publish optimized content. With a list of keywords studied for better SEO optimization, we wrote blog articles that included these keywords to improve the website’s positioning in search engines.
Building Backlinks
In addition to on-page improvementswe establish backlinks in directories, related blogs and partner websites. Building backlinks is a fundamental strategy for increasing a website’s reliability and improving its positioning in search results.

After implementing all the changes, we carried out a new indexing so that Google could read the new website content and recognize the optimizations made. Within a few days, we saw improvements in site position through specific tools. In addition, there was a noticeable increase in accesses and interactions with the website via Google Analytics and Search Console.
Results and Feedback
A month after the start of the project, we met again with the client to inform him that all the changes had been completed and to present the results obtained. We were extremely pleased to hear that the client had already noticed the positive results: the number of contacts and bookings coming from the website had increased significantly. The client’s positive feedback was a clear indication of the success of the project’s SEO optimization.
