On September 24 and 25, Up We Go went to Lisbon and attended the SBC Summit, one of the largest international events dedicated to the casino, iGaming and eSports industries. At a conference that is regarded as a benchmark in the aforementioned industries, around 25,000 professionals and more than 450 speakers gathered, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. It was an intense two days, full of enriching experiences and a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge with top specialists. We are convinced that we witnessed discussions that will shape the future of the sector, and the recognition couldn’t be greater.
In addition to all the lectures and moments of networkingthe event also stood out for its dynamic and interactive atmosphere in the exhibition area. Here, there were over 600 exhibitors presenting the latest industry news and, at the same time, providing us with plenty of fun moments that allowed us to relax between conferences. Divided into thematic zones, the exhibition also offered an immersive experience that made it easier for us to navigate between the different themes of the SBC Summit.

Day 24 – The future of casinos and cryptocurrencies at SBC Summit 2024

Os especialistas debateram as as cryptocurrencies estão a abrir novas portas aos casinos online, apesar das barreiras regulatórias que ainda existem.

Day 25 SBC Summit – Digital Marketing and the Power of Personal Branding
Finally, the long-awaited second day of the SBC Summit arrived and we have to admit that this was the one we were most looking forward to, as it focused on digital marketing, as well as emerging trends in the world of affiliate and personal brand building. So, as big fans of digital marketing as we are, you can imagine how excited we were for what was to follow. On this day, we had the opportunity to attend several talks that reinforced our idea that it is super important to create an authentic connection with our audience, something we have been applying consistently in the strategies we develop for our clients.

One of the presentations that struck us most was that of Tony Hawk, a true icon in the world of skateboarding and entrepreneurship, who shared his journey in building a solid and genuine personal brand. In his talk, Hawk stressed that the key to a successful brand lies in authenticity, reinforcing that, regardless of creative marketing strategies and brilliant ideas, the key is to maintain the essence and true connection with the public. A lesson that we believe is crucial in our beloved world of digital marketing, where trust and transparency are the pillars of any successful brand.
